Pooja Bhatia is a dynamic leader with over 16 years of experience in progressive education, committed to shaping globally competent, emotionally intelligent, and future-ready learners. As Head of Primary at The Ardee School, New Delhi, and Academic Advisor to The Ardee School, Goa, she combines a strong foundation in Montessori philosophy with deep expertise in Cambridge International methodologies.
In addition to leading curriculum and instruction, Pooja heads the World Study programme and oversees Student Welfare school-wide, ensuring learning remains globally relevant, inclusive, and grounded in social-emotional well-being.
Since joining Ardee in 2009, she has led with vision, innovation, and compassion. Her learner-centred approach is supported by data-informed academic strategies and a steadfast belief in fostering teacher agency. As a Cambridge International Trainer for Primary Mathematics and Regional Trainer, she has delivered multiple professional-development workshops across India and authored thought-leadership blogs for Cambridge International.
A lifelong learner, Pooja holds a postgraduate degree in International Business from The Fore School of Management and a B.Com (Hons) from Delhi University. She is also trained in Jolly Phonics, Dance Movement Psychotherapy, and inclusive-education practices (Orkids, Learning Matters). Early classroom experience at The American School, New Delhi, and hands-on Montessori practice continue to inform her holistic, interdisciplinary, and inclusive pedagogy.
